I don’t quite understand – what is SEO?

SEO stands for ‘search engine optimisation’. In a nutshell, it involves optimising the content of your website so that search engines (like Google and Bing) can find you and send traffic (i.e. potential customers) your way. There are many different methods of search engine optimisation, but you have to be really careful that you don’t use ‘black hat’ methods (read: sneaky, spammy tactics) which can get you penalised by Google and result in your website being blacklisted (which means that Google stops sending any traffic to you at all). If all of this sounds confusing, don’t worry – it’s actually very straightforward once you’ve been taught the tools and techniques. In this course, we start at the beginning and build your skills from there. So even if you’re a complete newbie to this whole idea of SEO, we can teach you how to confidently apply the principles to your own website.

I’ve got a big commitment during the course and am worried I’ll fall behind. Can I still enroll?

Yes! This program is designed with the busy business owner in mind. The course is self-paced, so you can binge it in a weekend or work through one module per week. If you to work through one module a week, then you’ll want to schedule 3-4 hours each week (depending on the size of your website), but if that isn’t possible – or if you’ve got a big commitment on during the course’s run – you can adjust your pace and dance to your own tune.
