Founding Member Rate: $897 a year or $279 a quarter. Instant access to your foundations course the moment you join. First live workshop Wednesday 2 December 2026 at 10am AWST. Rate closes end of Cyber Monday, 30 November 2026.
Does this sound like you?
If you find yourself nodding along to any of these, the membership is built exactly for you:
You know SEO matters for your business, but every time you sit down to actually work on it, you get lost in conflicting advice and end up doing nothing.
You’ve been told everything about SEO has changed because of AI search, and now you’re sitting on a half-built strategy because you don’t know what’s still worth doing.
You’ve hired SEO agencies in the past, spent a fortune, and walked away with a confusing report and not much else to show for it.
You’re watching competitors show up in Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT answers while your business stays invisible, and you don’t know where to start fixing it.
You want a steady monthly routine that keeps your SEO and AI Search visibility moving in the right direction, without trying to turn yourself into a full-time marketer.
Your competitors aren’t better than you. They’re just easier for Google and AI to find.
Take your online visibility seriously. It’s not actually that hard, it’s just a step-by-step process.
As a member of The SEO School, you’ll be able to:
Across Google search, Google AI Overviews, Google Maps, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and any new search surface that turns up. You’ll know how to be visible in all of them without chasing every shiny new acronym.
Every month has one specific piece of SEO to work on. The live workshop that month shows you how to do it, the Implementation Template gives you the exact checklist and worksheet, and the co-working session straight after is where you actually get it done, with me in the Zoom room while you work.
You’ll know what’s worth your time (your Google Business Profile, your money keywords, your foundational on-page SEO) and what’s mostly noise (chasing every new buzzword, paying for vanity metrics, hiring agencies that hide behind jargon).
You’ll get the data, the reframe, and the practical workflow for showing up in AI tools, in plain English. No buzzwords, no doomscrolling, no half-baked AEO consultants.
Not a flash-in-the-pan rankings spike that disappears the next time Google updates. The kind of solid foundation that compounds over months and years and survives every algorithm change.
With a community of other small business owners working alongside you, plus me in the room every month, you’ll always know whether what you’re doing is right and what to try next.
What you get as a member of this SEO course and membership:
Six modules waiting for you the moment you join, watched on your own time. Course Intro · The State of Search Today · The Fundamentals of SEO and AI Search · Understanding How Your Customers Search · Setting Up Your Tracking and Tools · Building Your Monthly SEO Rhythm.
A living checklist you download on day one that becomes your monthly SEO routine. It starts with the universal items every business should check monthly, then grows as each workshop adds items to your personal rhythm. By month twelve you have a monthly SEO habit shaped around your business rather than a generic template.
A curated library of proven AI prompts organised by SEO task, pre-filled with your own business context so ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity give you outputs you can polish and ship rather than generic filler. Every prompt comes with a “what to check for” note so you know what to trust and what to bin.
One live workshop each month on the first Wednesday at 10am AWST, on a specific implementation topic. Every workshop comes with a dedicated Implementation Template (a spreadsheet, checklist or worksheet) so you leave with completed work on your own business. Full calendar below.
Right after each workshop we take a short break and stay in the same Zoom room for up to 90 minutes of live co-working. Stay as long as you need to get the work done, with me available for questions.
Google Analytics 4, Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools set up step by step in your foundations course, then put to work in the live workshops through the year.
A members-only community inside your member portal. Ask questions, share wins, get help between workshops. I’m in there answering questions and posting weekly prompts to keep the group moving.
In January and July there’s no new workshop. Instead there’s a live Catch-up Clinic: bring whatever you’re behind on and work on it with me there.
Over 20 years inside SEO and Google Ads. More than 1,000 websites optimised. More than 70 training workshops delivered to small business owners. I’ve watched search change through every major shift, from mobile-first to local pack to featured snippets to helpful content updates and now AI Search. Same principles work every time.
What’s inside the membership

Your complete foundational course, built into the membership and available on day one. Six modules that teach the strategy and framework every workshop builds on:
- Course Intro: welcomes you to the whole membership, orients you to how the pieces fit together, and previews the five modules that follow
- The State of Search Today: how Google and AI Search work now, where people really search, and what has and hasn’t changed
- The Fundamentals of SEO and AI Search: the ten things that get your business found on Google and in AI search, from keywords and local listings to links and measuring results, how each one maps to the workshops through the year, and a plain-English decoder for SEO, AEO and GEO so you know what people are trying to sell you
- Understanding How Your Customers Search: the different kinds of searches (money, informational, brand and navigational), which ones to prioritise, a first brainstorm of the words your customers use, and why each main service deserves its own page
- Setting Up Your Tracking and Tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools set up, enquiry tracking, your sitemap submitted, your Website Map of every page (from a crawl or by hand), a check that your business listings match, and your first AI Search visibility check with an AI prompt included
- Building Your Monthly SEO Rhythm: the module that turns SEO from a project into a habit, including your Monthly SEO Health Check document that grows as you work through the year
About 3 hours of core content, watch on your own time.

A living checklist you download on day one that becomes your monthly SEO routine. Section one has the universal items every business should check monthly (Google Search Console coverage, Google Analytics trends, top-three-page spot checks, an AI visibility check). Section two starts blank and grows across the year as each workshop’s Implementation Template adds specific items to your personal rhythm (money keyword rank checks after December’s workshop, Google Business Profile posts and review requests after April’s, GSC keyword-opportunity checks after October’s, and so on). By month twelve you have a monthly SEO habit shaped around your business rather than a generic template. A short intro video (5 to 10 minutes) sets the frame and shows you how to use it.

A curated Google Doc of proven AI prompts organised by SEO task (keyword research, on-page rewrites, meta descriptions, content briefs, schema markup, competitor gap analysis, and more). Fill in your business context at the top of the doc once, and every prompt below is ready to paste into ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity with your specifics already filled in. Each prompt comes with a “what to check for” note so you know what to trust in the AI output and what to bin. Faster work, better outputs, no generic filler.

A live workshop each month on the first Wednesday at 10am AWST, on one specific implementation topic. 60 minutes of applied teaching with real examples on real businesses, then a short break, then up to 90 minutes of live co-working right after where you actually do the work on your own business. January and July are Catch-Up months, with a live Catch-up Clinic instead of a new workshop, so you have space to implement without falling behind.
Every workshop comes with a dedicated Implementation Template (spreadsheet, checklist, worksheet or swipe file) so you leave with actual completed work on your own business rather than a theoretical understanding. Here’s the full calendar:
| Month | Workshop | What you’ll be working on |
|---|---|---|
| Wed 2 Dec 2026 | Keyword Research Done Right | Build your keyword map. Money keywords first, sorted by decision-stage vs research-stage intent. Allocate each keyword to a specific page. |
| Jan 2027 | Catch-Up Month | No new workshop. A live Catch-up Clinic: bring whatever you’re behind on and work on it with me there. |
| Wed 3 Feb | On-Page SEO for Google and AI | Rewrite three of your money pages using your keyword allocations. Titles, meta, H1s, intros, CTAs, internal links, image alt text. Plus writing so search engines and AI can lift a clear answer straight off the page, and the schema markup that earns you rich results in Google. |
| Wed 3 Mar | Link Building That Works | Audit your current links, work through my curated list of quality sites and PR opportunities, and learn how to find more through competitor analysis. |
| Wed 7 Apr | Getting Found Locally | Local SEO, Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Maps, Google Reviews, citations. |
| Wed 5 May | Becoming the Expert | EEAT and personal brand building, plus Person and Organization schema markup. |
| Wed 2 Jun | SEO Beyond Your Website | Everything that isn’t your own website but still signals authority. Third-party mentions, social profile alignment, entity linking, directory listings, and a proper look at how your business is talked about online, including what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude say about you. Then you fix what’s wrong and make it consistent. This is the work people are selling as “GEO”. |
| Jul 2027 | Catch-Up Month | No new workshop. A live Catch-up Clinic to finish the work, plus implementation time and replays. |
| Wed 4 Aug | Technical SEO Tidy-Up | Speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, sitemaps, orphan pages, broken links, image optimisation. Plus checking you aren’t accidentally blocking the AI crawlers, which more sites do than you’d think. |
| Wed 1 Sep | Content Marketing That Ranks | Editorial calendar, research-stage blog posts feeding money pages via the Hub Model, and writing content AI actually quotes: your own data, your own case studies, your own examples rather than a rehash of everyone else’s. |
| Wed 6 Oct | Unlocking Google Search Console | Finding keywords you almost rank for, slipping pages, indexing and coverage issues, URL Inspection, and turning GSC into a monthly to-do list. |
| Wed 3 Nov | Websites That Convert | Turning visitors into enquiries. Homepage clarity, service page structure, calls to action, trust signals, contact forms. |
Ten workshops per calendar year, two Catch-Up months, the same rotation every year so the calendar becomes a rhythm you can plan against.

This is the bit that makes the membership different. Right after each workshop we take a short break and stay in the same Zoom room for up to 90 minutes of live co-working. Stay as long as you need. Your laptop is open, you start doing the thing we just covered on your own business, and I’m there in real time to answer questions, look at your screen if you need a second pair of eyes, and keep you accountable.
Most online courses end with “now go and do this on your own”. The membership ends with “now let’s do it together while I’m still here.” That’s why members actually finish things, instead of bookmarking videos and forgetting about them.

Your foundations course walks you through setting up the free tools every business needs to measure its SEO, and the workshops then show you how to get the most from them as the year goes on:
- Google Analytics 4
- Google Search Console
- Bing Webmaster Tools
- Screaming Frog for your first site crawl (optional)
- Your first AI search visibility check across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude

A members-only community that lives inside your member portal, not on Facebook. Log in once, see everything in one place. No algorithm hiding posts, no Facebook fatigue. A focused space for asking questions between workshops, sharing what’s working, getting a second opinion on your strategy, and building relationships with other small business owners doing the same work.
I’m in there too, answering questions, sharing what I’m seeing in client work that hasn’t made it into a workshop yet, and posting weekly prompts to keep the group moving.

January and July are catch-up months, so there’s no new teaching. Instead there’s a live Catch-up Clinic: bring whatever you’re behind on, from your Implementation Templates to your Monthly SEO Health Check, work on it with me there, and ask your questions. It’s a built-in deadline to catch up by.
Let’s be honest about who this is for.
- You’re a small business owner who wants to take SEO seriously without becoming a full-time marketer
- You look after marketing inside a business and want a clear SEO plan you can follow and report on
- You’ve tried agencies before and felt like you were paying for jargon and reports instead of results
- You want to understand WHY things work, not just blindly follow tactics
- You want a monthly routine that’s actually doable, not a one-off course you’ll never finish
- You’re tired of conflicting advice and want a single trusted source for SEO and AI Search
- You’d value being in a small community of business owners doing the same work
- You want to show up in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Claude, not just regular Google
- You’re willing to put in roughly 4 to 7 hours a month, including the live workshop and co-working session, to make this work
- You want someone else to do all your SEO for you (in that case, you want an agency, and I’m happy to refer you to one)
- You’re hoping for overnight results (SEO is a long game and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something dodgy)
- You’re not willing to put in any time yourself (the workshops and co-working sessions only work if you turn up)
- You’re chasing the next shortcut, hack, or growth secret (the membership is about the boring foundational work that actually compounds)
- You’re a full-time SEO professional (the membership is built for business owners, not for SEO specialists, and you probably already know most of this)
- You want a one-and-done course (the membership is a rolling 12-month rhythm, not a finite product)
Let me answer the big ones.
You absolutely can, and for some businesses that’s the right call. As someone who’s run an SEO agency for 20 years, I can tell you what most agencies charge a small business: somewhere between $1,500 and $5,000 a month, with a 12-month minimum, for work that you often can’t easily verify or understand. That’s $18,000 to $60,000 a year. The membership is built for the business owners who want to either learn the skills themselves, OR be informed enough to know whether their future agency is actually doing good work. Even if you do hire an agency one day, what you learn inside the membership will mean you can hold them properly accountable instead of paying them blindly.
Because unlike a standalone SEO course, the membership isn’t something you have to finish. It’s an ongoing rhythm: a workshop each month, a co-working session straight after, a community where you can ask questions, and a routine that fits into roughly 2 to 4 hours of implementation on top of the monthly live session. You’re not climbing a mountain by yourself, you’re showing up to the same Wednesday morning session every month and quietly building momentum. The co-working sessions are the thing most people say turns their pattern around. You don’t have to find time to implement on your own, because you implement live while I’m in the Zoom room with you. The work just gets done.
Short answer: no. The longer answer is that AI tools rely on the same trust and authority signals that Google uses, so the foundational SEO work that’s mattered for 20 years still matters now, possibly more than ever. The membership has AI Search baked into every relevant module and workshop, not bolted on as an afterthought. Whether you want to be visible in Google, ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity, you’re getting all of them at once.
My 30-day no-questions-asked guarantee.
If you join the membership and within the first 30 days you decide it’s not for you for any reason, just email me and I’ll refund the full annual fee or the quarterly fee, whichever you paid. No forms, no exit surveys, no “are you sure” emails. Just a refund and we part on good terms.
I’d rather have happy members who want to be there than people stuck inside something that doesn’t fit them. Try it, and if it’s not the right thing for you, no hard feelings.
